Don’t know why I like this spot so much. I guess it’s just so rare to find a commercial in this category that’s actually good. No?
More impressive than the Chevy site and they got the reflections in the floor right. Enjoy.
While the new Rapp Collins Website (programmed by 2advanced) is stunning on the exterior, it leaves a little to be desired when you start to dive into the content. I love the growth animations and imagery, but I would shoot that hummingbird if they were kind enough to include a game that allowed the user to do so.

Now keep in mind that mot people go to automotive web sites to view photos, big full screen photos. Also, keep in mind that this car is targeted to middle America (yes such a place exists, and people buy cars there. We coasties refer to this middle America as “Fly Over States”) and starts at under $20,000. I would say this site hits the mark pretty well.
I wish I had been paid $800,000 for designing a derivative Olympics logo that everyone despises. The real question is, did the designer do this on his own, or was it a client mandate after countless meetings with innumerable “cooks”? It looks best in the press photo above, but it looks horrific on the London2012 website. So sad. In a country with legendary designers the likes of Neville Brody!

Uhhhh you just have to see it.
Here’s a guy ol’skoolin. What do you get if you can print both sides of the page? 16 pages? As nice as this guy seems, I am noticing a certain resemblance to Charles Manson, eh? Might as well replace the DIY YOU at the beginning with KILL YOU. In any case, I thought this was a good way for Scott to print custom iPod playlists for his NEW CAR! Congrats, Scott.
The billboards all around L.A. telling me to “Get Good Karma” have really been bugging me. One says ‘Volunteering: +20 points’ and the other ‘Volunteering at the judges “request”: -35 points’. So I went to the site to see what it’s all about, and honestly – I don’t really get it. It appears you are supposed to get involved with your community – but the delivery vehicle is guided towards pre-schoolers.
Yes, it is a very cute implementation, but I am not sure why I have to click an arrow to go to the next screen every couple of steps. I flipped the turtle over, and helped the mountain goat get back up, and then some random link sent me to a different site with a photo of George Bush. Then I left. Brought to you by the AdCouncil.
