Cool Poloroid Filter

Posted by nelsdrums on November 16th, 2008

Do you miss the look and feel of Poloroid pictures? Poloroid made a new filter application that you can download for free here: http://www.poladroid.net/.

You can save the file at any part of the “development” process. The top image was saved about halfway through, and therefore lacks some contrast. The bottom image was fully processed. Processed images are 1392×1692 px, regardless of input.

Cabspotting.org uses GPS to trace San Francisco’s taxi cabs as they travel throughout the Bay Area. The patterns traced by each cab create a living and always-changing map of city life. This map hints at economic, social, and cultural trends that are otherwise invisible. The Exploratorium has invited artists and researchers to use this information to reveal these “Invisible Dynamics.”

Might as well replace the DIY YOU at the beginning with KILL YOU. In any case, I thought this was a good way for Scott to print custom iPod playlists for his NEW CAR! Congrats, Scott.
